Welcome to the Back Creek Preschool

The Back Creek Church Preschool is a ministry of Back Creek Church, Associate Reformed Presbyterian. The Preschool is dedicated to providing activities which promote   mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional growth in a loving and caring setting. The teachers are people who are qualified by their experience, training and their desire to help children grow, as well as by their own character and Christian commitment. Children are accepted into the preschool as space allows without regard for race, religion, or sex. Back Creek Church Preschool is committed to Biblical principles and uses prayer, Bible stories, and religious reference when relative to classroom activities.

 Back Creek Church Preschool operates on a Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm schedule.

Classes offered are subject to change based on enrollment demands. Enrollment may change on a monthly basis. Children unable to be immediately placed in a class will be added to the waitlist. There is a $90 registration fee per child, reimbursed in the case the Preschool is at capacity.

Curriculum

Our curriculum will have specific topics for each month which will be developed in the individual classrooms. A wide range of activities will be offered to stimulate mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional growth. Activities will be age and developmentally appropriate. Progressive foundational skills include separation and adjustment; shapes, colors, verbal skills, following directions; gross motor development, fine motor development, noticing patterns, number and letter recognition  

Each class will have a schedule which may include learning centers, outdoor time, circle time with stories, art, crafts and quiet time. From time to time, we may also offer cooking, science experiments, show & tell and other activities at the teacher's discretion. The teachers are committed to offering the best material available for your child's growth  

We are a Christian Preschool and will use stories from the Bible and Bible truths where appropriate. We will pray before meals.

Summer Programs

Each summer, Back Creek Church hosts VBS for preschoolers and elementary-age children. All children are welcome to participate!

Registered preschool students have an opportunity to get together this summer for a special time of fun and activity! There will be four weekly sessions. The hours will be 9:30 am-1:00 pm. Children will enjoy fun and games, water play, arts and crafts, and more. Our summer camp teachers will be Back Creek Preschool Staff Members.
